August 2009: Mr. Michael Glickman has joined Greenway Engineering as the Director of Transportation. Mr. Glickman is a licensed professional engineer and a licensed professional traffic operations engineer who has worked in the field since 1995.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of transportation planning and traffic engineering, including traffic impact studies, signal warrant studies, traffic signal design, maintenance of traffic plans, preliminary roadway alignment/corridor studies, roadway mitigation recommendations, parking studies, and transportation modeling.  With more than 10 years experience in the Northern Virginia area, he has worked on a variety of projects ranging from site access/land use feasibility studies to the development of preliminary roadway design concept plans and signal design plans. Mr. Glickman’s responsibilities have included project management, project design work, project planning and public presentations summarizing access recommendations related to VDOT/AASHTO standards, improvement phasing, and transportation System/Demand Management evaluations
